Absentee Voting

If you requested an absentee ballot for the November 2 Municipal Election, you must submit a new absentee ballot application for the November 30 runoff election. Your absentee ballot application must be received by the November 19 deadline.

Georgia law allows residents to vote by absentee ballot, sometimes known as voting by mail.

Senate Bill 202 passed by the General Assembly in 2021 made many changes to the absentee ballot process, including new deadlines and ID requirements.
