A major effort is underway this month to find homes for 500 dogs and cats at the Fulton County Animal Shelter as a part of the August Clear the Shelter campaign. Lifeline Animal Project Heather Friedman adds, "The Fulton County Animal Shelter was built to house 80 animals and right now we have close to 375 animals which is an enormous amount of animals to care for. So we are participating in a Clear the Shelter event and we hope to get many animals adopted."
