AmeriCorps Senior Companion Program

AmeriCorps Senior Companion Program

The AmeriCorps Senior Companion program pairs interested seniors with volunteers who want to make a difference in the life of a senior who resides in Fulton County.

Volunteers assist seniors with household chores, grocery shopping, making appointments and other chores within and outside of seniors’ homes. These efforts can help seniors remain in their homes and reduce social isolation. Volunteers serve as senior companions between 5 to 20 hours a week and may receive a stipend for their services.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, contact the Fulton County Starline at 404-612-6000 or email seniorservices@fultoncountyga.gov.

Interested volunteer candidates can complete the form at the bottom of this page or download this form and email it to seniorservices@fultoncountyga.gov.

Contact us today and start making a difference in the life of our seniors in Fulton County.

Program funding is made possible by AmeriCorps. The mission of AmeriCorps is to improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic engagement through service and volunteering.
