Brett Pinion is an attorney with 25 years of criminal litigation experience and a record of excellence for over 150 felony jury trials. He graduated cum laude from the Georgia State University of Law and obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration, Cum Laude, also from Georgia State University. He has extensive experience handling complex cases and high-profile matters in Georgia’s busiest Judicial Circuit since 1999. Before joining District Attorney Fani Willis’ administration, he served in Fulton County’s Major Case division as a Chief Senior Assistant District Attorney. He has extensive experience representing the State of Georgia in criminal prosecutions, having served as a prosecutor in both the Atlanta and Coweta Judicial Circuits. In addition to his time in Fulton County’s Major Case division, he has served in Fulton County’s anti-gang unit, crimes against women and children unit, juvenile court, and the anti-public corruption unit.

While serving the community as a prosecutor, he has handled thousands of felony cases from arrest to trial and appeal, including high-profile murder trials, death penalty trials, police corruption trials, gang trials, rape trials, and child molestation trials. During his time at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, he has been recognized as the Atlanta Judicial Circuit Attorney of the Year, Humanitarian of the Year, and has received the office “Trial Warrior” award.
