MLK Speech “The Other America”: During this dialogue, participants will discuss “The America We Want to Be” and reflect on King’s critique of how race and ethnicity shape the American experience and create a jarring “Other”. 

Background: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s 1967 speech at Stanford University. Here, King expounds on his nonviolent philosophy and methodology.
