IMPORTANT UPDATE - November 14, 2022

The Fulton County Emergency Rental Assistance Call Center at 855-776-7912 has closed. To check the status of your application, please log in to your application portal. It is imperative that you respond to any outstanding task(s) or requests for information from your case manager as this information is required to continue the processing of your application. If you have specific questions regarding your application, please contact your case manager using the direct phone number or email address they have provided to you. Applications and payments are processed daily. Please allow at least 7-10 business days for delivery. Applicants are required to remain in the property where they received assistance for all months covered by the program. You may call 855-776-7912 to hear a recording of this message.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - October 5, 2022

Beginning Monday, October 10, the Fulton County Emergency Rental Assistance Program call center's new hours will be Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. EST.

For an update on your application, please check the online portal and to communicate with your application reviewer. If you still need to speak with a representative, please call back Monday – Friday, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. EST, when the call center is open.


IMPORTANT UPDATE - AUGUST 16, 2022:

Fulton County’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program application period is now closed.

Tenants who submitted applications by 11:59 p.m. on August 15, 2022 may submit additional documentation as requested by their case manager. Landlords may click here to submit applications associated with tenant applications that were submitted by August 15, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. No new applications or additional funding requests submitted by tenants or landlords will be considered after 11:59 p.m. on August 15, 2022.

Residents may also apply for Emergency Rental Assistance through the state of Georgia at https://georgiarentalassistance.ga.gov/.


Eligible Fulton County residents living outside the City of Atlanta can apply for emergency assistance for rent and utilities (water, gas, power) resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Residents must meet eligibility requirements established by the federal government, including:
• One or more individuals within the household have qualified for unemployment benefits or experienced a reduction in household income, incurred significant costs, or experienced other financial hardship due, directly or indirectly, to the COVID-19 outbreak;
• One or more individuals within the household can demonstrate a risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability; and
• The household’s income is at or below 80% of the area median income.

Households affected by unemployment for 90 days or more, households with incomes at or below 50% AMI, and households with documented eviction will be prioritized.

By applying for the Fulton County Emergency Rental Assistance Program, you may be evaluated under the guidelines of Emergency Rental Assistance Program I (ERAP I) or Emergency Rental Assistance Program II (ERAP II) based on the time your application is processed and the funds available under either ERAP Program at that time.
